Windshield height

Sorry to start a new post, but someone was asking about the height difference between the short and the universal windshields, and I can't seem to find the thread.

OK, I did measure the two today (mounted, of course) and this is what I came up with:

Genuine short windshield: 10"
Genuine "universal" windshield: 16 1/4"

I measured from the top of the chrome headlight ring to the top of the shield.
