so far:
...cut mudguard, added 3 reflectors, added "isaac" nameplate to black rear wheelwell
...fabricated hand fairings from the interior legshield plastic from an elite ch80 and the feet off of an aluminum paint roller tray
...replaced brown rubber footpad with black footpad
...painted:
-passenger "footrests" black
-front wheel and shocks flat black
-muffler "cover" flat black
-hand fairings navy outside and green inside
-"toilet seat" front body panel baby-bluish
-side panels white
...more to come, certainly, but i think that she finally had changed enough to post a pictoral update...
pictures from my birthday last week, solo ride to the tv towers on the top of south mountain, phoenix, az....

I could definitely go for some handguards myself!

Nice work.

Yeah, I'm really curious about those handguards. Where'd you get them, or did I miss something and you made them yourself?

What's the blue front panel about? Is that something I'm unaware of, some kind of cult thing? Doesn't really go with the orange...

...he's prob'ly a Denver Broncos fan. Orange and blue are quite schtick to them...

the hand guard thingies involved dremel, handsaw, heatgun, drill, all 4 of my remaining brain cells, and a couple hours of trying not to get ahead of myself, but are well worth the 15-20 degrees that i get back on my rides home from work at midnight... phoenix is warm, but 45 degrees with a steady 45mph windchill is, um.... cold...

and the blue doesn't match, per se, but matching is way overrated...

and the doncos suck...

and im glad you appreciate, poli... that sticker came along with unsane-splattered smothered and covered (or whatever) and a mastodon tshirt...
scooters are way metal...

I don't understand the poll questions. I thought the post got hacked and was waiting for someone to fix them.

I like the black wheels. How 'bout a black seat? I'm not signing off on the front cover though.

something will be done about the seat soon enough...
yeah, the blue is a bit experimental... the screw tab thingys on the inside of the cover are all jacked up, so i am going to have to get a new coverpiece anywho....

I'm thinking of painting my front panel blue, but much darker.

Here's what I'm thinking:

Navy Krylon Fusion:

and then maybe over that, this:

Not sure about the Mystic Prism thing, or whether that would even work. It might be cool right on the plastic itself.

forgat to add: switched the whiny horn with the horn off of my "project" ch80 elite... simple to do, and adds alot of oomph to that little yellow button... we actually hooked the horn from a 83 caprice up to it, but there was not space for it under the cover, so i had to settle for the ch80 horn...
