Can someone post a link to the maintenance guide for the Buddy. I need to change my oil this weekend. Thanks.

Thanks for the link to the manual and to the oil change photos.
I have a slight complaint. That Manual isn't very informative. I can't find how often certain Maintenance should be done, brake pads changed, break oil changed, how many horsepower does a 150 have, etc.
Anyone know if it is there, and I just can't find it, or is it not there.
Thanks,
GFP

I would say that is being generous. The manual is nearly useless for me at least. My dealer told me they don't have anything else. Good thing Seth knows what he is doing.

I am getting ready to do some painting so I was happy to note there was a section in there title "Dismantling the plastic parts".

It consists of statements like this:

4.Removal of front mudguard
-Remove the screws of front fender.
-Take off the front mudguard.

The black and white low-res photos there show pictures of what is undoubtedly a Buddy/BuBu, but no labels and discernable detail to help.

I think we're on our own.

okay, good, cause I was getting really annoyed this past weekend with it. So does anyone know how many hp we are working on in the 150cc class?

Well, our Buddy is 125cc... so:

9.727 hp
based on:

THanks, we were guessing 12hp. So it is a lot lower than we thought. So do we know how much, aprox, a pick up pipe would increase that? .5hp or more. Less than 2hp

If it's starting with ~10hp, then I'm guessing a pipe alone gain on the order of 0.5hp or less, which at ~5% would still be a respectable gain. 2hp would be a 20% increase and seems quite unlikely!

Someone needs to get their B125 on a dyno! 8)
