Buddy is single again

This afternoon I said good-bye to my Bajaj! I will admit that the Chetak, while cool to look at, just didn't have the same performance and usability of the Buddy, hence it didn't make the cut.

I was a bit apprehensive in letting the buyer ride off into the sunset knowing that he doesn't have the proper endorsement and doesn't even have experience with manual transmission cars. But I told him he should get the license (and will pass on MSF info), and other than that it's his call. I did send him over to some nearby parking lots to practice a bit before he hit the road.

Hope he enjoys it!

Sorry hear about the loss of your Bajaj, VC. There are days that I dearly wish I still had mine, but in order to afford the Buddy, I had to trade it in. I still catch myself reaching for the rear brake lever to "downshift" as I approach a stop sign or light... You'll miss it.

Nah, I doubt it. I think I put less then 100 miles on it while I owned it, and even after getting it cleaned up and fixing the clutch, it just didn't "do it" for me. I liked the ride better than the B125, but that was about it.

Anyway, I sold it for more than twice what I paid for it, so that definitely pleases me! 8)
