But will it fit in a minivan? ":>]}

Post by Drumwoulf »

Could someone please measure the length of the Buddy, tip to tail, and also it's height (excluding the mirrors)? I want to find out if it would fit inside my beat-up old '92 Plymouth minivan with the back seats removed...

Thanks,
drummer :?

If you can't get a member to do it, call your closest dealer. I'm sure they'd get it to you asap.

My guess is that it will fit. You may not be able to stand it up and properly secure it, though.

When you remove the back 2 rows of seats there are steel bar seat attachment clasps in the floor of the '92 Horizon minivan. If there's enough headroom to stand the Buddy up inside (with it's mirrors removed), I could use tie downs with these things just like with a pickup truck...

Might I suggest you take some old blankets with you? Wrapping some portions might help if it does shift in the back.

Seems like I saw some dimensions somewhere. Oh yeah!!

I followed a link off the Genuine Scooter website. This guy compares the buddy with a few others. (Buddy wins overall, of course. :) ) He gives some of the dimensions of the scooter.

I was lucky, the place we bought mine delivered it. He even came back to deliver the helmets that he'd forgotten to bring with him when he brought the scooter! :)

Well, fame is a relative thing of course... Often referenced as "someone got theirs home in a convertible... search for it..." :D

BAHAHA I knew this would come in handy. I don't have pictures but without taking out any of the seats in a minivan, and with half an apartment full of shit and not taking any of it out. Now, we did have to scoot the front two seats all the way up, but we squeezed it in between the first and second rows. Easy to get in, got it by myself, helluva time getting it out (and that may just be because of my level of intoxication). But long story short, yes, yes it will fit.
