Buddy won't start

I have brought the scoot inside during the inclimate weather. Every so often, I will start it up so that none of the fluids sit too long, however, this evening, I went to start it and it won't turn over. All of the electronics seem to be working fine and the the starter is clcking, but nothing is happening with the motor. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the battery. Did you try kick-starting it?

I did, but I couldn't get to start, never kickstarted it before. I assumed the power was fine since the electronics, i.e. turn signals, horn, starter clicked. But I have been wrong before.

Does the starter sound normal or is it a rapid click-click-click-click-...., if your batteries low your elec starter wont actually crank you motor though your lights may come on. also your turn signals may flash slower or just stay lit on whatever flasher your tryin to use. if all your electrical stuff acts normal you might have an ignition or fuel problem. check for spark on your plug

The Buddy is pretty easy to kick start. I'm no scooter genius but I can handle it.

If it is a bettery problem, you can actually jump start the scoot from a car -- just don't turn the car on or you'll fry your electrical.

I recently got a Battery Tender Jr. for my Vespa; good investment for under $40, especially if the scoot's sitting in the cold for any amount of time. It will charge up a weak battery and then keep it at full charge.

Did you leave the ignition on accidently? I did this a couple weeks ago and had my shop recharge my battery. Same thing, came out two days after raining, and tried to start it to no avail. I think HomeDepot sells a trickle charger if your local shop won't do it for you.

It makes a rapid click click click. And the rate of the turn signal does vary, horn also sounds a little week. Is this the battery?
