Does anyone know what the paint number is for the sunset orange buddy? I am trying to get my top case matched to the color of the buddy. My dealer told me that if I had the paint number that any auto body place should be able to match it. Thanks

Well, that answered my question before I even asked my dealer!
Since we're not replacing the body panels that are only scraped, I was going to get a really fine sandpaper, smooth it out, and see if the dealer could sell me a little bit of matching paint.
If not, I'm going to design my own cover, and use some of the Krylon Fusion.
AS far as finding the color number, you could probably go to
http://www.genuinescooters.com and see if they have a contact email.
With so few colors to choose from, I don't know if they have numbers per se.
I SHOULD be seeing my dealer tomorrow, I'll leave my question on my list of things to ask about, and add the color# question to it as well.
did you find out???

The panels aren't painted -- the color is integral to the plastic. That would be pretty hard to match! Maybe you could take one of the small parts (like the part under the glovebox) to a paint store so they can match it using one of those computers?

I talked to the guy when he came to pick up my scooter Saturday, and he said he'd call Genuine and see if they had a number for it. I told him thankyou on all our behalves. Haven't heard from him about my scooter since then though.
I'm anxious to get back on it. My calf has healed well enough that I was able to run today, but I repulled the muscle on the inside of my leg during the run. I had only pulled that muscle because of trying to limp up and down the stairs getting stuff done around the house. I must have stepped wrong at some point, and not realized it.
Managed to do about a mile and a half in 14minutes and 42seconds, not bad since I haven't run hardly any at all since last spring when we had to put our first dog down. (Irish was my running buddy, now I need to train the new dog to run with me, and not ahead of me. Stupid dog. LMAO!)
But, as soon as I hear from the guy, I'll let everyone know. I'm still seriously thinking of putting my artistic skills to use (I've been trained since before I was a year old) and cover the gouges with some black and green stuff to match my nekkid fairy sticker on the front.

I always thought it would be fun to paint a band-aid over the damage... maybe mark the band-aid with "Boo-boo #1", "Boo-boo #2, and so on. Of course, I would hope the number of boo-boos wouldn't get too high....

LMAO! What a cute idea! Unfortunately mine would probably look like a mummy when I was done!
OH! Maybe that's an idea! Mummy Bandages all over! I can have the first MUMMYCYCLE!
What would I call it?

I have seen stickers that look like giant Band Aids for cars.

often times your best bet is take to an auto paint supplier and have them match it, like said before take a small panel to em, thats what i do for work whe someone has a custom paint job and tries to get their whole car painted since "it wont match" (funny how they always want to repaint the thing a different color too), paint injected plastics will fade over time so if yours scoots not brand new, the original color may be brighter, plus a professional would have to "blend" the panels next to the one gettin painted so the repair wasnt noticeable. ends up bein cheaper to replace the panel often times. touch ups are fine but youll notice em up close, if thatll bother you, replace it.
Got the paint Number...errr I think

It's a good thing someone else was able to get the info. My dealer out here was a bit backed up and so busy that I had to give them instructions for mine a couple of times. Therefore, I didn't get the paint color info.
Since the dog is no longer keeping the greenhouse warm for my Buddy (she likes to take naps in the greenhouse if I leave it open.) I've got to get down to the drawing pad and design my "cover story".
Also....I got a hilareous idea. ON the back of my trunk, vice bumper stickers, etc....I'm painging the words "Karma Ketchup" in really nice lettering. I'm notorious for saying Ketchup instead of Catch Up, and it'll remind me that Karma will "Ketchup" to the guy who put me down.
