There's a couple of posts on here with celebratory mileage photos and cheers. I hit 100 the day I got my rear rack, and then 200 the day I rode all over town trying to avoid the Prince of England (long story). Neither time did I have my camera on me, dang it! I'm hoping I'll be better prepared when 300 hits.
Which might be in dang MARCH the way this winter is shaping up...

I bet the "parades" (whether an actual parade, or him just going from point A to point B) are a pain in the butt sometimes, in traffic. If I hear the president is in the area, I just stay home. He was here in the Colorado Springs area a while back, I think, can't remember. I had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Bush (the first one) or Sonny Bono back in 1991 at 29 Palms, California, but my buddies dragged me to meet someone else. I was in so much shock, I never did catch his name, he was a CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR WINNER from WWII. I was the only female meeting him, and it was so awesome I didn't know whether to **** or go blind!

Passed within 30 feet of Mr. Bono, and I wasn't even remotely on the right side of the parade grounds to even see Mrs. Bush in the crowds. That poor woman was MOBBED!
Duncan.....a name that only rings a bell with Marines...sat in the base bar drinking with him alongside my now hubby.

I do believe that's his name, he wrote "Green Side Out", if I remember correctly.
Ok, now I'm TOTALLY OFF TRACK! But, it was a pleasant trip down memory lane.
