Whatcha think about this '07 deal?

A new 2007 ruby red Buddy for $2699 OTD, including dealer prep and freight? (Sales tax and registration of course are extra...)
It looks pretty good to me, but I thought I'd check out some opinions here anyway..
(And why not? -It's too damn cold now to ride in NJ anyway..)

i personally think it is a great deal, especially considering the upgrades from the 2006 model. if i did not already have my beautiful scoot, i would not hesitate to buy one of the 07's. it is also great that genuine seems to have listened to customer requests and suggestions.

Well, I believe the MSRP on the Buddy will be $2599, a $100 increase over the previous year. The Series Italia is $2699. But usually, if you live near a dealer, shipping and freight should be included. The OTD price in CA usually includes tax and registration because the dealer handles registration of new vehicles.
So you may want to call another dealer just to compare and see what other NJ buyers paid in registration fees. But overall, sounds pretty standard.
And yeah, at $100 more that the '06s is a good deal. The improvements are well worth it.

speaking of that, what would you pay to renew your scoot tags every year in NJ?
