That scooter won an award in the Concourse d'Elegance. Apparently it is a frequent winner at rallies.

That belongs to Nyle of Jettin.com. It's won a bunch of awards (too many—time to let someone else win one!). He's got a few custom GTSs, I think.

I went to a rally for the first time, Ameravespa, and met a lot of people.
Our vacation was to include Ameravespa, but I didn’t get to spend too much time there; here are some pictures.
The wife is still vacationing; I had to fly home because of work.

Great shots, rajron!

The leader of the pack to San Juan Bautista is Oz, The O.Z. over on ModernVespa. The next day, we were posting about the ride on MV and he said, "You were there? Why didn't you say hi?" The ridiculous thing about these types of events is that you can spend an entire day a few feet away from someone you've swapped messages with online for a few years and not even know it.

Nice Rajron! I wanna go back! The sky in that San Juan Bautista shot is so blue is almost doesn't look real. So much fun!

In the Uvas pic, there's a custom flat black GTS with a yellow & black caution tape design on the back. That's MB and ModernVespa founder jess' rather badass Cannonball scooter. The caution tape design is also on the sides. That's his spare gas tank mounted on the back.

Way in the background, you can see Skootz, I'm handing MB stuff to an Italia rider, and you can also see Jimmy & Mike from NoHo Scooters. Mike's SYM RV250 is a pretty sweet little cruising scoot.

I met Tenchi today. He approached and started talking to Skootz and I then said he was looking for the MB people. Hey, that's us!

Then tonight, a MB member, Laura, won the SYM HD200 raffle. I was standing next to her but didn't know who she was.

Hey Eric,

It's Genuinescootergirl ( Laura) since 2006!

I love my black '06 125 Buddy, ordered from my awesome dealer, Barry while still a rumor - sight unseen.
It was better than I could have ever expected.
I ordered the new 2008 150 St. Tropez to ride the Cannonball, based on my experience with Genuine scoots.
Broke my throttle hand: ( No Cannonball for me that year.
I still have both scoots and they have been my daily riders.

Now the SYM 200. I'm getting used to the huge wheels ( it's not a Buddy) and to remember to use the center stand when putting gas in or the gas goes out.

I now have three great scoots, all a little different.

Nice meeting you the day after I won the SYM & thanks for the patch, it's already on my rally jacket.

Laura
