09 Stella High Beam

I picked up my new 09 Stalla Saturday and was able to get about 12 miles on it. The high beam does not work but the low beam does. The high beam indicator on the spedo also does not work. I looked closelty at the bulb and can't tell if it's a bulb problem or what. Obviously still under warranty, but dealer is about an hour away. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

sounds like you have one of the ele bugs

more then likely the wires are loose in the switch

so you can either take it back to get it fixed

or pop the headset off and figure it out

Wow that was easy. Unscrewed the switch and there was the wire connector hanging free, the small screw and back up nut. Reconnected and all is working perfectly.

it may come loose again there are lots of wires in there and some seem to be a bit short it took a few trips under my headset to finaly get the head light right

nromaly when you shift it will scretch or pull on the wire and lossen things up

all of the wires in my switch had worked themselves loose while it spent a year on the showroom floor. So, the shop soldered them in place because they were causing shorts in the ele system. Enjoy your Stella! I hit 900 miles today and loved them all.
