I'm new to the forum, new to scooters and new to the Stella, but I've been wrenching on mopeds and such for years. Forgive me if I ask dumb questions with obvious answers. I know the Stella and the PX are very very similar, and I know a 5-speed kit can be had if you wanna dole out $500+ for it, but my question is this:
Are there other places to get parts for my Stella 2T aside from Scooterworks? Nothing against them. They've been great to me so far, but I like to have a selection.
Is it worth $500? Will I get more top speed out of a 5-speed than a stock 4? Do other PX parts fit the Stella?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Stella 2T 5-speed kit?

The easiest way to get a few extra mph out of a stock 2 stroke is to upgrade the pipe to an unrestricted one and upjet.
I went with the sito+ which is cheap (100ish$) and gets you noticeable performance increase.
The next step up is to do up the displacement, but on a stella it means getting a new crank because the stock one will disintegrate on you, and doing that means splitting the engine.
