DOH!

Post by noodoggy »

I was working on my Stella and accidentally pulled out the oil hose. Oil leaking everywhere! Is there any possible way to get this fixed without having to do a whole pullout of the gas tank? PLEASE say YES! LOL Just put a full tank of gas in there lol Thanks for your help. And I dont mind getting underneath and reaching blindly. I can do that lol

Here is a link to one of those fine alienmeatack tutorials.

Sounds like you gotta pull the tank.

Its halfway up the side of the tank. HARD to get to without pulling the tank up. Get a friend to help. Not too bad with an extra set of hands, just be careful of the "sightglass" at the front. You will be done in under 30 mins !

Damn good tutorial! Thanks!

I don't get to cruise the other forums as much as I'd like.

thanks agian for all yall help. Getting the tank out was a breeze. It was a little snuggy and had to maneuver around the oil sight glass. But came right up and the mess wasnt that bad beacuse it was all contained in a little plastic sheet at the bottom of the frame. So pulling the gas tank wasnt a hard job at all. Love learning something new with my scoot. The only thing is gotta remember to be careful when putting back in that you dont pinch the gas line. I did that and had to pull it back out. Thank goodness it was easy.
