I park outside so I do not have a way to do so.
Even then the Stella can just be kickstarted and doesn't tecnically require a battery to run so I'm not bothered by it.

Leo,

I use a battery tender during the off season, but with a twist.
Even though they are supposed to be a float charger I have had them go nuts and overcharge/cook a battery over the winter.

So, to avoid the possibility I plug the tender into a lamp timer set for one hour a day....this way it can not harm the battery if the circuitry fails.

During the winter I use this method on 7 summer only show cars and 8 bike batteries.

I generally can get 4 years from any good quality bike battery.
