Stella turn signal noise

Post by Maximus53 »

Hi All. I recently dumped my LaVita for at new Stella 4T and so far am loving it! Everyting except the large van back up sound the turn signals make. Has any one changed this to a more normal clicking or disabled all together?

Thanks!

Used to bug me too. I have actually grown to like it though. When I'm turning, it's nice that everybody sees me, because I see all their heads whip over like, "What the heck is that noise?"
On the other hand whenever it would be inconvenient to make the sound- I just don't use the blinker- Might not be the best policy, but it works.

I disliked the sound on my 4T, but left it as is as I didn't want to be blamed for any random electrical fault that somehow was attributed to my disconnecting of the buzzer.

That make sense to me.. especially given the quantity of electrical faults i have seen reported in this forum alone.

The first time i used the turn signal on the test drive, i was looking all around for the truck I couldn't find.

The upside is this is the one vehicle I have never accidentally left the signals on!
And pedestrians look out for you more.

I finally got in there and put a few thick pieces of electrical tape over the buzzer. it's about half as loud now. I still hear it clearly, but it doesn't have that piercing sharpness and just sounds like a beeping.

much, much better.
