Ok, this beeping has to stop!

Day two of the Stella letting out a beep every time I shift into first gear, which obviously just happens to be when coming to a stop behind cars in traffic. You get some funny looks when you beep every time you come up behind someone! I really need to find time to fix this tonight before someone gets annoyed enough to get out of their car.

I guess it's better than the time the headlight went out every time I shifted out of first gear (at night of course). If I could combine the two issues at one time:

Shift into first - headlight comes on and scoot beeps - now that would get attention!

Mine would drop the headlight if on high beam. But only in 3rd gear!...ahh yes, Stella quirks

Just call the scoot "road runner" and leave it

I'm sure it's a similar problem. My last Stella had the headlight going out issue, which I trace to a broken wire inside the sheath by the shifter.

My current Stella has the horn beep problem. I'm sure it's related to the same wiring, I just need to get around to fixing it.
