foil in oil reservoir

As I was filling my oil today the foil from the top of the bottle fell in. Yes I know, this is a dumb mistake. What I need to know is if it is necessary to pull the reservoir and retrieve it or if it will be ok. Thanks.

Could you fish it out with a screw driver or a wire coat hanger ?

If you leave it in there it could and probably eventually would stop the oil getting to your engine and that would be bad,very bad.

It will eventually block the pickup.....gotta get it out of there.
