Hey all,
Can someone tell me how to tighten up my horncast? It's loose and pulled away from the legsheild at the top and for the life of me, I can't seem to figure out how to get it back into place!
Thanks in advance.

There is one screw behind the Genuine logo on the top of the horn cast, and there are two more screws inside the glove box, on either side of the steering column. They're at about the same level of the turn signals.
When looking at the Genuine logo, I believe that if you use a thin blade down the right hand edge and carefully pry outward, you should be able to remove it without breaking it.

At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Yes I can confirm that the correct way is pushing on the right side of the logo while looking at the front of the bike. Doing it from the other side will snap it.az_slynch wrote: When looking at the Genuine logo, I believe that if you use a thin blade down the right hand edge and carefully pry outward, you should be able to remove it without breaking it.
It's weird for that screw to have come loose tho, it may have stripped the fastener.

Thanks everybody!
I got the horncast off w/o breaking the Genuine logo piece that covers that third screw! Once I had that off I could immediately see that the problem was not that the fitting was stripped but that the fitting had come away from it's square shaped hole in the legshield. Kind of wishing I had taken pics. Anyhow, I unscrewed it from the screw and put it back into it's hole and then put the whole thing back together. Done inside of 10 minutes!
The top is not flush w/the legshield, which bothers me and probably means that I will be doing this procedure quite often as that fitting is pulled loose by the tension. I noticed that there are square shaped holes on either side of the one that contains the fitting for the 'logo screw.' Two extra holes in all. It's got me thinking, I'm wondering if I can come up w/some way to use them to help secure the horncast.
