Stella makes an appearance in The New York Times

Post by jrsjr »

Stumbled on this by accident. It's an article about the Scooter Bottega in Brooklyn. There's a slideshow and some interviews including a quote from Stella owner, Mike Wood. A Stella and even a Buddy are on prominent display in the lead photograph. It's great to hear that a shop is thriving!
Correction: May 10, 2013

An earlier version of this article misstated the make of a customer’s scooter. Mike Wood brought in a Stella for service, not a “Vespa Stella."

Cool article. Good to know there are lots of shops around. I bet very densely packed cities end up with a lot of scoot sales, esp after Memorial day when the gas prices traditionally jump.

Yeah, the ones they made last century.
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Seriously...I've lost count...

Seven mopeds ...that's still manageable...
