I just pulled my 2T stella out of the garage from winter storage, and the battery has drained on it, won't start up with push start just squeels, can i charge the battery or do i need to get a new one? The battery was not that old, and it has a little juice in it, just not enough and its a nice convienece, but if I can charge her right up that would be great!
If you try pop starting it by pushing then hopping on.... go to second gear instead of first..
also.. you should be able to kick start it..
Fresh gas is a must.
siphon out the tank and pull the fuel hose from the carb to drain out
then refil with fresh gas.
good luck
If you need to store your scooter in the winter, you really need to get a battery tender (low amperage "smart" charger). It may recover your current battery. It will certainly result in much longer battery life in the future. Deep discharge is very damaging to a lead acid battery.
