I just ordered one of these but does anyone know how to wire this puppy? I want to give it a go myself but I'm not sure how to run the wires to the front case.

I'm guessing that when the wires are finally there I can just disconnect the leads on the stock horn and attach them to the new leads coming from the Stebel horn, just getting them up there is the question.

Which horn is that?

If it doesn't need a relay (as the Stebel Nautilus does), it's pretty much a straight swap for the old horn once you figure out how/where to mount it.

Hey Eric, it's the Steger 136, but it needs to be mounted near the battery I'm told since it won't fit in the original horn's location, then the wires need to run through the body I'd guess. But how do you fish the wires through the body to the horn casing? Sounds like you'd need something like a plumber's snake of some kind.

If you do figure it out, let us all know. It is a worthwhile mod. I did it on my buddy but after a few years it worked on and off which led me to a crash cause it didn go on when I needed it once. I would like a louder horn but i really can't get to it in a timely matter with the clutch on the same side. If there was a slide switch where my thumb can just slide up to push the horn, that would help. Any modders with a solution? I just avoid now days instead of relying on the horn. That was what caused my crash when my buddy stebel didn't go off. I tweaked out and pulled on the front brake too tight, rookie move!

I had my first 500 miles service today and had them install my adjustable dogleg clutch lever. It has really helped with my thumb pain. Although the reach when not engauged is still similar to the stock, when pulled in the distance is much closer to the handle and that was what tweaked my thumb out in new york traffic. It's been helping me and I would recommen it for anyone with thumb joint pain in the left hand.

yes, 7507 60 smt leds.

The 7507 60 smt leds didn't fit, they were way too long; can you measure your 40's so I can see how much of a difference there is between the two.

The two tail lights fit like a charm and took me about two minutes to install.

I'll try them in the rear today to see if they fit. The 60 smt led's are 52mm long and the 44 smt led's are 42mm long; I'm thinking it's that additional 10mm that's the problem for the front housing.

I did see a video review of the 60 in the rear housing on stellaspeed so it should fit. Let us know so we can get the info right for others who will go LED.

It looks like the modulator will fit just behind the light housing?

OK, they do fit in the rear, but they change the blink tempo and sound on my 4T, and it's even more annoying than the stock blinker noise. I'm keeping the brake light and running light, I like both of those, but I don't care for the 60 smt leds in the directionals.

LEDs don't draw enough current to properly load the flasher for normal operation, which is why you need to use resistors in parallel with the LEDs (which sort of defeats the purpose for me!). That's why I only use LEDs for lights that are on more or less continuously.

Sorry if that didn't work out for you, I only had personal experience with the 44 bulb 7507 which I wish were brighter since they are similar to the stock ones. The part I don't understand is that the 44 bulb ones should draw even less power and need a resistor but they have been fine without. Did you have the incandescent bulbs installed in the front when you tested the LEDs in the back? Just the one incandescent bulb on each side should be enough.

Autolumination sent me the module below instead of the one above and now I have no idea how to wire the thing; it has way too many wires. They said it's better than the one above which tends to burn out over time. They also said not to use the blue wire, but what the heck do I do with the other wires, I'm an accountant not an electrician.

With the one above you just splice it between the black ground wire. With this other one I have no freekin' idea what to do.

It looks like it has two extra wires. You should call them a
Back about what to do or send you a diagram.

Did you ever figure out your led bulbs?
