I use the kickstart almost exclusively. The only time I use the electric start is when the engine occasionally stalls, usually while coming to a stop before the engine is fully warmed up. I have considered removing the electric start and battery all together actually :D

The problem with that is how much it dims the lights when you're idling. Okay during the day, crummy at night.

Good to know. I didn't think of that. I remember now that when I had a wire come loose cutting battery power, my turn signals and headlights were VERY dim. The electric start is an option on the LML star, so I assume there is a way to get rid of it and turn a Stella into more of a base model...

The good news is I got it running again. The problem was a dead kill switch, apparently a fairly common woe, especially here in the rainy PacNW Disconnected the kill switch last night (a green and a black wire with a plug, just unplug it and your done) and Tej started right up. Hooray!

Well, I'm not going to complain too much since I can always kick start it. Plus, with my 500 mile tune-up right around the corner, I'll just start making a list of all this stuff and have the dealer handle it.

That's the beauty of a P200, you can always kick start it. If it doesn't work, bump-start it.
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Seriously...I've lost count...

Seven mopeds ...that's still manageable...
