Anybody know if you can swap the Stella seat for a saddle seat? I want to get the 4-stroke
Stella (if it ever comes out) and I really like the saddle seat on old Vespas, but I've never seen
it done on a P-series and wondered how hard it would be... anybody know?

If you go over to Stella Speed and do a search you'll find a ton of info and some pics.

Saddle seats on Stellas are very cool. Too bad I'm too short for them. I sat on a Stella with a saddle seat and my 30" inseam just wasn't enough.
I'm actually looking for a lower seat for my Stella. The stock seat if too wide and tall for me.
Here is a link to some information I found on Stellaspeed.

My Stella had a saddle seat when I bought her (it just bolts right on), but I'm far too short for that. Now I have a small frame Corsa seat and it's the perfect width/height. My feet actually touch the ground!
Just curious, why are you wanting to wait for a 4 stroke?

Air pollution mostly.
...and also I don't have enough money yet.
P.S. thanks for the link TX. I searched for a while earlier and that was the best I could find.

A saddle seat on a Stella looks great, but it's better in theory than in actual practice. The saddle seat isn't as comfortable as the stock seat, filling the tank is more of a chore, and the cowl locks are now exposed to the curious and mischievous.
