So... I have about 300 miles on my new Stella 4t. I am going to change the oil tomorrow, so that brings me to the question...

where is the oil filter/strainer? What else should I do for a quick maintenance?

I am planning on taking her to the dealer by 500 miles as described in the warranty agreement...

Any idea where i can find a maintenance book for this gem?

Did your dealer suggest changing the oil at 300 miles? Seema early to me. First scheduled service is fine.

There's a screen at the oil drain bolt and a filter that's kind of well hidden. As in, I've seen it but forgot where it is.

As far as a service manual, I'm trying to find/obtain one. There's a link to one on a UK site, but the link is busted. I haven't gotten around to emailing the site's owner to ask for it but will soon. I did check the UK LML owners forum and couldn't find a link. If you want to try searching, look here: http://www.lmlocgb.co.uk/

Nope the dealer didn't suggest it. I read somewhere that because it is a new engine it may have bits of small metal floating around in there.

If I find the other filter ill let you know! Thank you for the help.
