Tips on mounting the Prima bumper guard?

Post by desmolicious »

I just received this:

http://www.scooterworks.com/Front-Bumpe ... 2C381.aspx

I already put a couple o nicks in my fender (thank you Genuine for including touch up paint with the bike!) trying to get it to fit.
It seems too narrow. Any tips on getting it to fit? Am I meant to bend something out - the structure itself? Mounting tabs?

The downloadable "instructions" on the site are not clear. As in, not sharp/out of focus, if I try to enlarge the image size to make it viewable.

Thanks!

p.s. next up will be mounting tips for this:

http://www.scooterworks.com/Cowl-Protec ... 8C380.aspx

Right now they too are sitting there. I thought the bumper guard would be much quicker and give instant satisfaction...

I hope to tackle the same two jobs this weekend. You are certainly correct about the reproduction quality of the instruction sheet!
