I just drove my new Stella 4t home and have a bunch of questions.
First - is there an oil filter? I can not find it anywhere (and neither could the guys in the shop).
Second - do they stall often? It stalled on me a number of times on my initial 10 mile drive home. It happened while I was idling at a stop light and it happened as I started the throttle from a full stop (I didn't pop the clutch). It happened with an empty tank and also while filled (not topped off). Does it stall while in 2nd but with the clutch pulled?
Third - how do you get all of the blue gunk off the tires?
Fourth - do you turn the gas valve off when parked? The dealer recommended it because of the bad gas we have in California.
And last - how many miles until the smile comes off your face?

Your dealer is so far out of it that he is scary. Hopefully that is not the only choice for future servicing.rondothemidget wrote: - is there an oil filter? I can not find it anywhere (and neither could the guys in the shop).

I suggest that you tell them that if they want your business they need to bone up on the Stella 4T ASAP or all your friends at Modernbuddy.com will strongly reccommend you never take your beloved 4t there again.
you wont need an oil change untill the 500 mile mark and you will want a dealer to do it as the oil change is just one of many things they do at the 500 mile checkup. so that dealer has about 499 miles to convince you not to take your milage elsewhere.
it is a very valid question though.
anyway, I think you can see the oil filter when you take off the spare tire and look through the chassis. but I am not 100% sure (course I am not a dealer).I just took off my spare a while ago for fun and I thought I saw it in there, but I didn't get a photo. I was not really planning on doing that again - but If I do I will snap a pic.
I hope somebody else can snap a quick photo of it and post it here for future reference.
