Anyone else have a clunk from the front end of their 4T?

My Stella 4T makes a faint 'clunk' when I brake moderately hard, or push it off its stand.
Anyone else's do this?

I mentioned it at the 500 mile service and asked them to check the steering bearings. They said they did.... but it still does it. So maybe they forgot.
The brake caliper is secure, maybe the brake pads move a bit? But I still think it is the steering bearing.

Hmm

Nope.
I can feel it through the bars. Buggin' me especially as I had it at the shop, mentioned it, and apparently they didn't do anything.

Loose bearings? I know on bicycles you can get some front end shuddering from settled bearings. It also happens with improper tire inflation leading to tire damage (cupping).

Yeah I'm thinking the front steering bearing is loose. Even though I asked the shop to take a look at it..
Happened before 500 miles on the bike, so not a tyre issue (pressures are maintained correctly).

Verify that the wheel is bolted securely to the hub. I had some strange sensations on the Bajaj and I had two slightly loose fasteners on the rear hub/wheel. Other than that, yeah, probably bearings, and it should have been part of the PDI.

Good call, I'll check that.
Off hand anyone know the torque recommendations for the wheel bolts?

Took 'er back to Route 66 (finally had some time), they tightened stuff up while I waited.
Seems fixed. Could not detect the clunk. Fingers crossed as I guess the coming week of riding will tell.

Very happy w/ their service.
