Trailering 09 Stella
I am trailering my 09 Stella tomorrow and am wondering if the seat latch pin is strong enough to secure rear tie down straps to. Can't figure out where else to connect rear straps to.

I have done it that way.
Don't forget before you load it to turn your fuel tap off and run it out of gas. Otherwise the carb float may bounce around and could be hard to start

Also it would be great to find a short strap with loops on both ends and a hole in the center to simply position the hole over the seat pin, close the seat and secure tie downs to the loops. Seems it would not place too much stress on the seat pin, as the pin would basically only be holding the short strap with loops in place.

I've probably done it every way you can. I've used tie down straps over the pin.

I've run a strap over the seat, or over the floor board, Lately I've been lifting the seat and running a strap over the tank and closing the seat.

I do use a towel or piece of foam to protect the paint from the straps rubbing
