Hmmm... Ha! That sucks for me.
Now I have my 2010 stella 4 stroke to the dealer for them to look over everything and I got it back after to weeks because of ALOUT of ran and I got it back now funny thing is it has more problem now then when I gave it to thembut the big problem is I think my muffler is goin bad. Because when my scooter is warmed up it would make a REALLY bad ratting sound now first I was thinking it was because my muffler was maybe coming off so I pulled over waited 10 mins for it to get cold and everything was fine it wasn't because it was goin to fall of because it was on there REALLY good. So I drove it back home today and I know now that the sound is coming from inside the muffler. What is the best way to fix this or should I this buy a after market one?
This sucks and after I spend $60.00 this for him to look at the dame thing.

Dude...I don't have an answer but give people some time. There is plenty of good help here but not everyone is monitoring the forum waiting to give answers.
Hang in there...someone will help. Aren't you under warranty?

Well if 35 people looked at this and there is only one comment about it then Yeah I don't give much time to people and yes it's still under warranty it's only 6 mouths old.BuddyRaton wrote:Dude...I don't have an answer but give people some time. I would need more time than I have to figure out what we are talking about???supermach wrote:........ because of ALOUT of ran.
(In other words, I suspect most folks would need a much clearer description of the situation before they could wade in with constructive advice)

I hate to be the one saying it, but perhaps your attitude is what is turning people off from trying to help you? You present a poorly written post as if you didn't care about the issue much (I can understand if English isn't your native tongue, it isn't mine either, but try a bit harder to string a coherent sentence with proper spelling and you will be surprised of the doors it opens for you). Then you tell us that you don't give people much time as if we were at your beck and call to help you fix things. There is actually someone who is paid to help you with your issues and that is your dealer since it's a 4T and so you still have plenty of warranty left. I understand that things might have sounded worse after they worked on it but have you made them aware of the fact? Perhaps errors were made, mechanics are human too, and all you need to do is bring up the issue for them to resolve it?supermach wrote:

How to be polite about it without being my usual dick-ish self:supermach wrote:Well if 35 people looked at this and there is only one comment about it then Yeah I don't give much time to people and yes it's still under warranty it's only 6 mouths old.BuddyRaton wrote:Dude...I don't have an answer but give people some time. We are a group of enthusiasts brought together to this board to chat and support Genuine scooters and related bikes. While some have years of riding and engineering experience, many are casual riders or new to the scooter scene. To my knowledge, there is no factory endorsement of the forum, although I hear they do have an eye to it.
That being said: The members on here are not paid technical support staff. We do not keep regular hours on here, nor do the members have a requirement to answer every vauge technical question in the span of 30 minutes or less or your pizza is free. If I for one can help, I am more than happy to. But to demand answers and be a flippant douche about it when a fellow forum member politely explains why not everyone is chomping at the bit to cater to your problem isn't cool.
So, the word of the day is "chill". Besides, the question was not entirely clear, and not as many members here own 4stroke Stellas (most like myself here ride 2t bikes since 4t's are still rare) so there might be model specific issues that have to WAIT until someone with solid knowledge reads
"Earth" without Art is just "Eh"...

If the muffler's bad, it's under warranty. Take it in. They should look at it for free.

You're welcome. izark47 said pretty much the same before me.supermach wrote:So after 100+ views only one person write in for help... NICE!ericalm wrote:If the muffler's bad, it's under warranty. Take it in. They should look at it for free.
It might do you well to be mindful of above comments. Your posts can be rather challenging to read. I certainly have trouble making heads or tails of them. Impatiently complaining about not getting what you want won't have people eager to help you.
