WARNING: Stella is more addictive than CRACK!
I've owned three 2-S scooters and bought my 4th, Stella, in 05. My Stella has got more than 17K on the odometer. Today it was cold but not too cold to get Stella out for a little exercise. I figured 20 mins. would be good before I put her back in the garage. I ended up riding for 2 hours until my hands were too numb to shift. You would think that the thrill would be greatly diminished over time but every time I saddle up it's like the first time all over again. I just didn't want to come home. Can somebody explain what's going on and also suggest a good 12 step program for my obvious addiction?

When I got my Stella last summer I kept telling my wife how much I was enjoying the rides after work and on the weekends; she had never driven a scooter before. Well, a few months ago she got herself a Honda Metro and now she has more time in the saddle on her Metro than I do on my Stella.
She's so sad when it rains and she can't ride to work. So yes, there is no cure once you get this bug, you just have to live with it and enjoy the ride.

There is no cure. But, the disease manifests itself in other environments, usually in old pistols and British Cafe bikes. There is no cure. I'm sorry man... I hope it was quick at the onset and that your family doesn't miss you too much these days
