I really just want a more clean look on my stella so I was thinking about removing the cheap plastic stella logos on the side and the front. Has anyone else experienced this? what is the best way without hurting the paint? One of the on the side is already coming off, so I thought why not.

I used fishing line to cut them off, then used 3M automotive adhesive remover to get rid of the gunk left behind. Worked like a charm for all 3 of them.

By all accounts that 3M stuff seems to do the trick. I tried goo gone, and my goo is still with me. (My friend Goo!)

Just noticed you're in TO! Welcome. You're now the only other person I've seen on these forums in the county.. 8)

Thanks guys I cant wait to get them off. And yeah Im over in thousand oaks, your the first person ive seen from around the area as well. Everyday though I have someone ask me where I got it, how, much and how they want to pick one up. It would be cool to have a larger scooter population in the area.

I always warm them up with a heat gun. NOT too hot on the paint, jut good and warm then they peel right off. Less goo that way. Just keep touching the metal so you don't cook anything.

You guys can always come down and ride with us in LA!

We're also talking about an Ojai ride later in the summer. And maybe another Santa Barabara run.

As for removing badges, I use a blow dryer.

OH! You mean the badges. I thought you meant the stickers (which I'm still getting to bit by bit).
I noticed mine were sort of self removing in the sun one day (like mattgordon said), so I just grabbed and lightly tugged. Gone. I did the same with the reflectors right after.

Eric I'll keep watching for those rides, one day I'm going to come out there for sure. The Ojai ride is a definite, you guys will likely pass pretty darn close to my house.

Captain, there's a good bunch of scooter folks out here but most of them are on Vespas. Look us- Ventura county ventures (and the LA Scooter folks) up on meetup. You're located in between both clubs! Lots of rides for you. Feel free to drop me a line here as well.
