I've never heard of anyone Dyno "tuning" their scooter. How did it turn out? Do you recommend it? Did they tell you what kind of horse power you're getting with 177 kit?
How much did it cost?
I don't know if we have anyone in Tucson that does this, but if it worked well for you, I might try to find someone who does dyno-tuning. I just put a 166 kit on my Stella and We're having a hard time getting it tuned right.

I may just call it "dyno tuning" because of my previous years of working with turbo cars. We put it on there to make sure it was running safe and sound. Not too lean (which it was when I went in) and not too rich. It was more of an 'optimization' really.Howardr wrote:I've never heard of anyone Dyno "tuning" their scooter. How did it turn out? It was $100.00 for 3 runs + the hourly rate for labor.
Came out with 9whp. It's lower, but I need a new clutch and I have lower compression than I should (130) due to a major amount of squish. (>1.63mm) - could be better, but I'll worry about that later. It's quick enough for me.
