I have a 2008 Stella.
Problem- no Spark. The problem started some months ago where it would intermittently die and not restart. Now I get no spark at all. All other electrical seems to be fine- headlight comes on when cranking, all lights work, etc.
The Kill Switch was previously disconnected long before this problem arose.
I think I'm on to the right track with the problem. From what I can tell, With the key on, the Green wire going to the CDI should have 12 volts, yes? I get nothing.
The green wire going out of the ignition switch has no voltage with the key in the on position. This should have voltage, yes?
The Orange and Pink wires coming from the ignition have voltage with key on. The black does not, but I think that is ground if I look at the wiring diagram correctly?
Does this sound like a bad ignition switch?
Can somebody help me confirm ignition switch wiring?

2 years ago... I lost spark on my 08.
Turned out that the coil bracket broke in 2 across one of the mounting screws. the coil dangled and didn't make contact with the engine casing ..
So I took.it off.. and welded the bracket back together and reinstalled the coil.
All Fixed..... UNTILL.. a month later it happened again...!
Well., you betcha I had someone who actually knew how to.weld... fix my crappy weld job...
All good..
So... follow your spark plug wire back to the coil..
See if the coil is.securely mounted to the engine.
that's what happpened to my 08 when I lost spark..
good luck and keep us updated.
