Quick Clutch Cable question

Post by jungle tim »

I think my clutch cable is made from elastic as it seems so damn stretchy.

I have had it tightened twice in 500 miles, is it gonna settle down? are the better cables than stock?

Yes it will settle down. Cable adjustments are part of the package.

One more thought regarding the OP's question.

If you are adjusting all the free play out of the cable it will keep stretching (till it breaks).
Be certain you have at least 2 mm free play at the lever with the handlebars turned full left and full right.

Good luck,

In San Francisco city, lots of hills, stop signs, hipsters etc.

Is the clutch something that needs tweaking alot, would a 3rd hand tool be worth the trouble?
