Okay kind of a weird question but I'm going to ask
It anyway sometimes when I use my front break on the Stella the break light does not come on sometimes it does. The break light always works when using the back brake any ideas what's going on or is it one of those Stella things?
No break light when using front break?

The switch at the front brake lever is either failing or one of two tiny connectors under the rubber sleeve is not seated fully.Crazy88s wrote:Okay kind of a weird question but I'm going to ask

As stated, the switch is mounted at the front brake master cyl. mount, under the small rubber sleeve with a wire harness entering it.
Replacement is EZ....Just slide both wires off the switch and then you can unscrew it from the bracket.....no tools required, it is just finger tight.
Good luck,
Rob

Re: No break light when using front break?
Mine did the same thing and I'm pretty sure I caused the problem myself when I rerouted the cable behind the mirror instead of in front where the dealer ran it. Pulling the sleeve back that covers the connection revealed the connectors were off. Funny how much better things work when they're hooked up properly.Robbie wrote:The switch at the front brake lever is either failing or one of two tiny connectors under the rubber sleeve is not seated fully.Crazy88s wrote:Okay kind of a weird question but I'm going to ask
