Lone Star Stellas

Post by SockyTX »

I got my Stella in July and have been cruising around north Texas since then. I've met a few other Stella owners but I know there has to be more out there. So let me see if I can get a Lone Star Stella roll call going.

Alright seriously, just over 100 views and not 1 other rider/owner of a Stella from Tejas. I guess this really is the Lone Stella State

when I was in TX, I got crap just for owning a small, efficient car.

I can't imagine the crap you'd get on a scooter!

Howdy, friendly scooter folk...You've got another Lone Star Stella here, in central San Antonio. I purchased a 2009 Red Stella ( i always say "Last of the two strokes" in the same tone the mechanic from 'The Road Warrior' says, "...last of the V8 Interceptors...") in 2011, and love it.
I have a Blackjack also that is for speeding about and hotrodding...but the Stella is for straight up cruising...if I'm in no hurry, it's the Stella.
I'm a member of Alamo Scouts, and the Stink Eyes. Most of the Stink Eyes ride Stellas, matter of fact.

So c'mon, Texas Stella shifters, sound off! :D

Sweet!

We'll probably be escorted by some MC friends this April on their way to Austin, but we plan on visiting some friends in Amarillo/Lubbock. Now you guys are only another 6-10 hours away....

After living in Amarillo, I forgot how massive TX really is.

There were a ton of Stellas at Amerivespa in San Antonio a couple years ago. They're out there.

Have you checked out http://www.dfwscooterist.com ?

I'm a Texpat on a Stella… in California.

Yes I make frequent visits to dfwscooterist. But I guess I just figured that b/c this was a Stella specific forum I would start here.
