my 05 stella 2t has a worb 5 crank , boysen reeds , 24/24 carb , malossi 166 kit with a 226 h-bomb .
I bought it last Jan from a guy who soft seized it when he put the h-bomb on it . it runs strong with 160 , be3 and 130 stack and 18 deg timing but i put a trail tech tto cylinder head temp gauge on it and found it was running 425 after just a few minutes at around 1/2 throttle at 50 mph .
any thoughts on bringing the temp down ?

I run that kit with a different set up. What are your plug chops telling you?

Know how to spray around carb base? Make sure you don't have a leak? That is HOT. seize zone. what main jet?

Yeah...at that temp it will seize hard! I would also retorque the head bolts..I blew one up with a head air leak. Actually you might want to pull the head...during the autopsy I could see right where the air leak was at the head.
Do you have an EGT?
