Rear shock for the Stella 4T

Rear shock for the Stella 4T
Just got off the phone with Scooterworks and to their knowledge, there is no performance upgrade to a a better rear shock for the Stella 4T. Anybody in this forum have any luck finding a better rear shock? I got a Bitubo for the front. Also looking forward to putting the new Sito Plus exhaust on that puppy!

Problem with the 4T shock is it has an eyelet at the top, not a threaded rod. But it does appear that it is simply a 2T shock with an eyelet threaded on. I was going to take out my rear shock, make some measurements, and determine the eyelet threads. Then compare them to the measurements given by someone off of MV:NSM, but never got around to it this winter, too damn cold. Specifically I was trying to figure out if the eyelet could be removed from the stock shock and threaded onto a performance PX shock.

Maybe you could weld up a an H shaped bracket to mount to the rear shock mount on the engine, then use a shock with eyelets at both ends, which are common.
Edit- Thought of a problem and then a solution. With an H bracket nothing but friction would keep it from rotating around the rear shock mount. Well those eyelets on shocks can be turned to face any direction, so simply weld the bracket so the bolt through the shock eyelet would be perpendicular to the bolt through the rear shock mount. Seems I didn't think of this first, since this is the solution already employed by rear shock spacers to solve this problem.
