Dropped a screw.

Riding home a few days ago, after a hard brake in traffic, my rear wheel started making a loud noise. I pulled over and did as thorough an inspection as I could at the roadside. There was a slight abrasion noise when spinning the wheel. Okay. Loud noise when rolling. Steady, louder with speed, but there. Hobbled it home.
Got it up on the jack stands. Got the tire most of the way off and spent an hour wrestling with it before caving and taking the danged Tasso exhaust off. (Wasting time by being lazy and trying to save time. Yup.) Anyway, eventually got it all off and the drum apart.
One of the screws in the back plate had dropped out and was caught somewhere in the drum. Hyoooooops. Brake looked okay. Put it all back tight and closed it up. Everything a-okay.
