When do you need to winterize your scooter?

I live in South Carolina and it rarely drops below freezing.
I try to ride my scooter at least twice a week even if it is cold.
I will be going on Christmas Vacation for two-weeks, this will be the longest period of time without riding my scooter.

Is there any need to? I was thinking no.

Put some startron in the tank. Ride it around a little. Should be fine.
It's pure 3rd world technology, as long as you can keep the ethenol snot out of the carb it will be fine for a few weeks

If youre only going to be parking it for 2 weeks, then I would do nothing, and enjoy your vacation.
Longer that a month, then Id worry about the ethonal gas fu#king up the carb..
Plus.. Id pull the ground negitave battery cable off the battery to prevent current drain!
