Ha! Just an old crank and two stock gears. And a flywheel that won't fit on the new crank because apparently there are two generations of cranks and flywheels and I have one of each at the moment. Same part number, too. At that point, I just decided to set it aside and enjoy the summer with my 2T Stella and get back to the 4T when it gets cold out.Yalzin wrote:...So you've got a nice parts list, right?Stilts wrote:13k on mine before I decided to do add 165 kit and rebuild interior with different gearing and new crank. Engine still sitting in my basement.
Welcome to the club!

Stilts,
I figured you'd change the bottom three output gears and the clutch primary.
Still working on my list. Only parts that I'll have original will be the crank (less the bearings), cam chain, oil pump, cases and the shift box. Might be good, if I ever get it built!

At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...
Seriously...I've lost count...

Actually, you're right, it was teh bottom three. I did not change the clutch primary, though. Should I have? The stock gear looked just fine, but now you have me worried.az_slynch wrote:Stilts,

Huh. I thought you'd gotten a 22T clutch for your rebuild. The 68T gear on the cush drive should be good. Only reason I can think of for changing it is if you're rebuilding or upgrading the cush drive.Stilts wrote:Actually, you're right, it was teh bottom three.
