My first scooter was a 1978 Vespa 200E so I eventually got a 2008 Stella 2T in part because it just seems to be an updated version of what I had before. But I put 30,000+ miles on the P200 and don't recall ever replacing the clutch lever pivot bolt and now at 8,000+ miles on the Stella it just sheared off where the threads start. IS THIS NORMAL?
It's an inexpensive part and not hard to replace (now that I know a couple tricks), but this almost stranded me on the road. It made shifting really dodgy and I'm riding daily now. Is this a known issue? Do I need to carry a spare in my glovebox?

never heard of this being a problem. check the lever hole for being out of round and replace the bolt. also make sure you grease the new bolt and don't forget the nut on the bottom
