Scooter Lounge-Parts

Post by santa »

Has anyone ever used the Scooter Lounge of Utah for parts?

I have been waiting a couple of weeks for a part for my muffler from Scooter Works. I am not a hundred percent convinced that we are talking about the same part.

I really like that Scooter lounge has diagrams of the parts and numbered them for easy identification.

Not personally, but I've read good things about them. Seems like they have an eye for astuteness when it comes to Genuine parts. They have a good inventory and (again, from what I've read) pretty decent response time.

On the other hand, they might be the reason that my local shop can't get parts in... they might be hogging them. But that's just me being paranoid.

That would not be too far off. I have to do that with certain parts to make sure I can keep them instock. Like Dr. Pulley slider or ruckus seat lowering kits. As soon as they come into the country I buy every one I can get my hands on.

They may do the same with the Genuine parts.

I've bought parts from them for the Buddy and the Blur. Not online but in person at the shop. Give them a call and get the straight scoop on what you're looking for. They're scooterists and great folks to deal with.

I just ordered some parts from them. They're cool and are good at communicating. The one downfall is you have to pay extra shipping if they need to get a part from Genuine. I'd definitely recommend them though. I've had good experiences with Scooterworks as well. It would be wise to call them both and get quotes and timeframes for parts.
