Oil warring light is on, and the oil level is ok.

Post by dds_dk »

The Oil warring light is on my Blur/G-max 150 2008 (9000km) is on, but the oil level is ok
The oil is 1 month old and 400km old.
The oil is a full synthetics 5W-40 API SL/CF, ACEA A3/B3/B4

I have changed the oil and filter, and cleaned the coarse oil filter again. But the warring light is still on.
I have tried to start the engine whiteout the cylinder head cover. And there is enough oil flow to start a little spring water of oil out on the floor. I haven’t tried to measure the oil pressure.

I can’t find any oil pressure sensor in the service manual, not even in the wiring diagram.
Where can the find the pressure sensor on the scooter?

Service manual PGO G-MAX:

If you have the digital instrument cluster, then I believe that the oil light serves as a reminder that it's time to change the oil, and it has to be reset every time you do so. The following link will take you to a Blur thread that deals with this and also tells you how to reset the light:
