Just picked up my 220i
Just picked up my Blur SS220i. Even though I had read all the reviews I am still overly impressed with this scooter. This the the best all around scooter I have had. It is a tad bigger than my Z125 yet so much faster and better handling. The Blur is a blast to ride. I look forward to doing some cosmetic mods. Wondering if anyone has tried to convert the directionals from the handle bars and relocate them to the front cowling where the amber lights are.

Did mine within a few minutes. Hardest part was finding the pigtails down inside the cowling. Recommend using a little electrical tape, zip ties, etc. to clean up the cable clutter in there. While I had the front cowling off, I also changed my light bulb to a Sylvania Cool Blue (9003, I think). Much brighter, and the light is whiter... much better for my eyes, at least.

Can you confirm it's the 9003? If you can, I'll order mine online immediately. The stock bulb is good, but more lumens is always better.FUNAMBULISTO wrote:While I had the front cowling off, I also changed my light bulb to a Sylvania Cool Blue (9003, I think).

- It is the Sylvania 9003. It has tabs on the case at approx. the 12:00, 16:30, and 19:30 positions, with three contacts on the back. They're the same bulbs I just put into my 2000 Toyota Echo. There are brighter bulbs in the "Silverstar" line, but I like the slightly whiter light, and believe me, it's bright enough. Don't usually even put on the brights anymore unless I'm cruising out of town or want to be seen during the day.[/quote]

Thanks for the confirmation. I just ordered a two-pack of the Cool Blues, and can't wait to see the difference!FUNAMBULISTO wrote:It is the Sylvania 9003. It has tabs on the case at approx. the 12:00, 16:30, and 19:30 positions, with three contacts on the back.
