What's up with those crazy switches? Two of them do the same thing?! Is there no high beam? Also, any new lines on a performance pipe?

They're rewired for the US so that the headlight is on when the engine is on. The original switch is just like a car, off, parking, full lights.

High beam is on the other side (left). It also has a flash function which can be handy for signaling other vehicles.

No word on a performance pipe. No one has them. I've looked. Maybe in a few months?

Prima does make one indeed, but they haven't stocked them since last summer. Because of the way that the Blur's suspension is set up, it's going to take a custom routed header pipe to get an exhaust to work right.

I've been looking for an exhaust for this thing for a looooong time now. If anyone finds one, please post some details!

 our orange step children get no respect.

a couple months ago I noticed the 2 bolts that attach the heat shield to the side of the exhaust pipe were missing. I called the fine folks at Philadelphia Scooters to order the replacement bolts and they recommended (kinda half heartedly) replacing the pipe with the Prima. I doubt they have it in stock and would find the same problem you have with availability. I havent even been able to get the bolts but I think it's more because they've been sooo busy expanding and moving scoots through the shop that a couple bolts fell in the cracks of their orders. I have since replaced them with similar bolts and lock washers from the local HW store but I'm expecting them to rust at some point, couldnt get SS in the right size. If the heat shield becomes a problem I will seriously consider replacing the pipe if something comes to market. I feel a little inferior now riding with the wife on her 125 with the Prima. I like the sound of the stock pipe on the Blur but I can hear her rumble over mine when she gets close to me. I'm sure it will get worse if she starts riding in front - right now she stays behind me while she has her training wheels on.

I feel for ya. I've been looking very diligently for a readily available exhaust for the Blur for quite some time now. I just can't find anything that bolts on. The closest I could find was the MRP exhaust, but not at $380. The closest I could find was using the MRP header and another aftermarket can. But they still want $120-170 just for the header pipe. Again, no thank you. I'd rather get some mandrel bent 18-16 gage steel and get a competent shop to weld me a new header and make a flange out of 1/4 steel plate (a 3"x2" peice should make 1 perfectly good flange).

I've even bought an exhaust in hopes of getting it to mate up with the MRP header, but getting specs on them is like pulling teeth, so I just passed on it. I just put the exhaust up on Ebay to be done with it. I'm really tired of dealing with this stuff, lol.

NCY makes a few exhausts for the G-Max as well, but they don't have any instock... anywhere in the world that they know of. Most of their distributors can't get them in stock unless they make a minimum order of 50 units. I'm sure you can guess the probability of that happening.

I noticed that I've lost one of the side screws on my heat shield as well... One of these weekends, I'm just going to disassemble the whole bike and locktight the whole thing back together. They vibrate a lot!

That reminds me, it's time to bump my thread again...
