Hello everyone I am new to the forum. I was wondering if a 150/60-13 tire can fit on the rear of a blur with some modification to the fenders/ engine casing area? maybe some slight grinding of some sort.

It'll be a close fit, but i wouldn't grind anything off the engine case or swing arm.

They ground out the back of the swingarm mounts.

enough, to still have enough meat on the swingarm mounts to be safe and secure. This is thier racing machine, that see speeds up to 75 mph.
Im calling this the 150 mod!

I wouldn't do that, they removed so much material that you can see the end of the bolt hole through the side of the mount!
For that matter, I'd imagine the edge of the washer and probably the bolt head would stick out into the tire.
Just because it's been done doesn't mean it's a good idea! On a track, they're never going to hit a pothole or roll off a curb.

There is a dude in china with a pgo g-max whos been riding around for over a year this way (and other people who are part of his scooter club). And if you think we got potholes here in the usa....well developing countries are well.....swiss cheese in comparison. My guess is that you have to trim the bolt to match the mod.

every tire is also a little different. are you going with the bridge stone that they have there? or with some other brand?
also, what is the 2nd largest rear tire can you go with without having to grind anything?

im going with the best 13" in that 150 size. Perelli diablo scooter (but only when I have the money which is not anytime soon

. You can try a 140 series tire, I think it would fit without serious mods.

i think i'll go with the 140/60/13
the pirelli sl26 also looks nice, but i dont think it comes in the 140 series.
