tire pressure and 200 mile oil change
Hi everybody! I was wondering how many of you changed your oil at the 200 mile mark like it says to do in the manual. Also, what is the correct tire pressure for the blur? I searched the forum and could not find any discussion about it. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: tire pressure and 200 mile oil change
The manual says you should do the first oil change at 200 miles. The warranty requires it to be done by the dealer within 500 miles. Note that the Blur odometer does not read in miles. nor kilometers apparently. If you have the dealer do the oil change and checkup sometime between the 300 and 700 odometer readings you should be good.
The sticker inside the underseat storage container (pet carrier) says 30 psi front and rear.

So I have about 320 on mine. I'd like to ride it to work tomorrow since the forecast has changed, that is another 20 mi (both ways) plus about 17mi to the dealer. SO 360ish is no problem, or is it really better to let it sit 'til I take it to the dealer?
BTW what is up with the blur odometer? I keep reading how off it is.

Defer to the owners manual for the 220i. The odometer differences are mainly for the 150 model. You fellas with the 220i will have to give us some feedback on it's inaccuracies (or better yet accuracies).

A lot of us have the digital speedos (like the 220i) retrofitted to our older blurs. They're way better than stock, but no scooter speedometer or odometer is terribly accurate.
With the older odo, i'd be nervous, but the newer odometer is close enough. You'll be fine. Also, an "oil" light is tied to the mileage and comes on when it's time for the change (though I've never been able to figure out how to turn it off).

Hold the select button until the oil light flashes then (release select button) and press reset button... I forget how long it goes until it relights, though.illnoise wrote:Also, an "oil" light is tied to the mileage and comes on when it's time for the change (though I've never been able to figure out how to turn it off).
