Have any of you folks tried to install your own DR Pulley weights?
I just need the variator removal tool and I think it would be pretty easy..

Have any of you guys found a variator removal tool anywhere? They seem to be somewhat of a hard tool to find...

Side note, does any one know the torque spec of the variator main nut?

Other than that you can use a torque wrench, or a small breaker bar, but you'll need to make something to hold the variator in place.
The easiest way, for most folks, is to have your local dealer do it. My dealer charged me $20 labor.

I just ordered an impact wrench.

From my house to big easy scooters
83.0 mi... that is not gonna happen too often.

I have a breaker bar and a torque wrench, so getting off the main nut isnt the issue, its the device to hold the variator stationary that i'm trying to find...

Maybe i'll give scooterworks a call and see what they got...
