I would like to take a trip next month that is 80 miles one way open hiwy. I have no problem maintaining 65-70 but I've never done it 80 mi at a time the most is 20 that I do pretty often. My friends are riding Harley's. Have any one taken a ride this far on the hywy at that speed did it turn out ok I would like to know from all who have.

Depending on the ambient temps and whether or not you have had your ecu reflashed, you may have the cutting out issue some have talked about. 80miles is a long way on a Blur. My butt is sore after 30.

I rode from Cincinnati to Gatlinburg in one day last year about 300 miles. Then rode all around Gatlinburg for a couple days and then back to Cincinnati.

The way down we took the side roads but it was 12 hours of riding. We came back on I-75 the entire way and it only took about 5 hours.

Blur had no issues.

That sounds great but any idea what topspeed you where maintaining.

I kept it at about 65-70mph. Throttle was not all the way open.

You drove 300 miles at 65-70 MPH and never got the engine warning light on the dash? What ambient temps were you driving in?
